not really unless the maybe boyfriend knows about it and is okay with it. Also if you are fine knowing that she likes the other romantically as well and won't get jealous and make her choose. Also if you are fine that she could have to do things with him and not you sometimes even if it's important. (Also these relationships tend to fail most of the time)

See if she likes you and don't tell the bf about her feelings but ask about his feelings and see if he ever thought of a 3 way if he doesn't mind. If he does mind just stay out of it. I don't think you should get yourself any further to interfere. It's ok to try but don't force your feelings on people. I think you should be able to express it at least over than never trying.

If I were you I wouldn't love her that way if you can't have an honest relationship, it'll just be trouble. But how about you, you okay being a third party and doing things behind th bf's back, but I'm sure your not that cruel just start out as friends
