I'm lost. (7)

I've always been a fast learner. Skillful. No matter what I wanted to do, if taught to me, I'd be great at it. I'm not saying this to brag. It's just that I feel like I won't be able to know what it is that I was meant for.
I've tried drawing, typography, poetry, gaming, dancing, singing, playing a few musical instruments, creating stories, studying, and even sports.
Other people saw me as a talented and amazing young person, but I did not. I felt like something was missing. Like my sense of purpose was nowhere to be found. I barely had motivation, and I felt lost. What should I do after I graduate from school? What do I want to do in the future? Those questions bothered me every single day but the answer was nonexistent.

Find someone smarter or talented than you, and learn from them.
There must be someone you cannot exceed currently.

"If taught to me"
Can you learn stuff quickly yourself? If not, you could make it your temporary goal to learn that. You could also learn to teach others what you learned. Or you could learn how to figure out what you want to do.

College, especially universities, you have to teach yourself. I easily learn when someone teaches it to me, but that requires more than just lectures. In some of my small classes it is easier since they do more than just lecture.

I had the problem of not knowing what I wanted to do so I dropped out of college. I finally found out what I wanted to do in a span of 4 years out of college and now I'm back at it.

The main question is what do you tend to do in your free time? Go from there and see if there is any professions linked to your hobbies. Mine was researching new technology, so I want to design computer chips now.

If you are good at math and like science I would recommend reading the Feynman lectures on physics, which is free online through Caltech. He approaches physics in a really fun way, but starting with volume 2 you would need calc 3, and some diff eq, to fully understand the math. Yet you can still understand most of the concepts.

you have to say people like you are very rare it would be waste if you got misguided. Lets first talk about the first issue your worried that you may grow to different from others well being different isn't bad its the same as individuality, honestly though i envy you to have been this determined, smart and talented i hope you can appreciate it as much as i do, most people want to fit in in the world by making friends and such they would even change themselves for this because people don't want to be an outcast in which people call loners but you being great people tend to attach to you like a leech and call themselves as your friend and manipulate you to there wishes, so be careful. the second problem is that you yourself don't know who you are, you lack self-discovery. In my life I also wandered to whom I am in this world, i grew frustrated I just didn't know but time came when I found myself and who I want to be i just grew impatient, be patient take your time to understand yourself, I myself can't tell you what you need to do because the answer would lie upon on you. In your life the advice I can tell to you is to not regret anything do what you want to do, do what you need to do. The world is more vast than you think theres bound to be a the thing you would be looking for
I also realized since your quite talented you probably never experience failing if you do experience it i hope you'd still keep on going and won't give up after all when you find your purpose it'll be hard to give up on that thing. Or maybe when time comes when your wrong and someone corrected you, you won't turn arrogant
Best of wishes to your self-dicovery :)

I have the same probably, how I sort of fixed it:
I tried to give myself a life; I made as many friends as I thought I could 90% commit to and that I was okay with wasting time with. I started trying to commit with homework and test taking, but the best I can do so far is to study on the bus before and homework during class (but I'm getting close to it). I chose one sport and one other thing and slowly made myself a life I was okay with living. I'm still not one hundred percent sure I'm living an actual life and no I don't go mountain climbing and parachuting every day but at least I'm not just existing. I'm making my way to being the fearless, straight A student everyone sees me as with my everyone once and a while C because I deserve freedom.
Its my life, I chose it, not the other way around.
