Currently Jobless, Need Motivation (7)

Hi! I'm Kairean and I'm currently 22 years old.

Let's get to the topic.

I'm jobless

My main reason for that is because I'm having a hard time motivating myself to do a job. I have a lot of hobbies and likes but what really gets to me is the energy to do it. I have tried to search for job hiring online but whenever I read the qualifications, the location and other information, I always end up taking a step back.

Many people say that I'm lazy to which I deny (mainly because I still things like household chores and small commissions thru DeviantArt.) My earnings there only reach $0.50 per month so I'm not really depending on that. I believe that all my skills are mediocre and I'm not confident that I will improve that much soon.

Any advice will help.

Ahem
You'll soon need a Phd to find a job in the internet.
Go walk around town and ask around.

It's pretty hard to get a job these days, but you should definitely try. I am currently unemployed also, but I just apply to anything... it hasn't really worked out yet. but here's hoping :) good luck on finding your motivation.

Knowing someone who's been working somewhere for a while is like a golden ticket when you need the work.

I say go for any opportunities that's being offer near you. Either its a program, education or lie on your resume use ppl to support you to just get hired.

I know that feeling all too well.

I'm here to let you know that you can get a job at a place like a grocery store or fast food place and try to work your way up to manager. The only qualification you need for places like that is that you be literate. Clearly, you've got that covered. Not to mention, it'll get your parents off of your back.

The most glamorous job I've had was cashier. That was easy as hell and I got paid $9.50 an hour for 7-hour stretches. Getting promoted is super easy, especially if you're full-time and not attending school. They offered me a Head Cashier position as soon as it opened and I hadn't been working there for two months.

You got this.

you can find a job if you apply to enough places. I think I had to apply to over 50 jobs before I had on of them call back. It was at a fast food place though. I would suggest getting a tip job, which I think is the best kind of job that doesn't require any degree.

Motivation for getting a job is already there if you ask me. It is so you have food on the table and a roof over your head. If you don't have a job then you'll end up homeless, since you need to pay rent and food costs money. If you don't mind being homeless then I can see why the motivation for getting a job isn't there.

Of course to do something you are passionate about you have to first know what that passion is, and only you can ultimately figure that out. Most of those careers require a degree, or certification of sorts too. It all depends what you want out of life in that aspect.
