Today is an interesting day for me. It has been eight years since one of my friends passed away. He was 17 right before our senior year in high school. We were told that he was going to be back but then I got a phone call that he wasn't going to come back. I thought it was a horrible joke I wanted to believe it was a horrible joke. Then when we got to his funeral that he would just pop out from behind a pedestal and everything will be fine. he was the kind of person who could get along with anybody.
He used to make me feel better.. when I would come to school sad because of the depression I will just sit in a corner by myself and he would come over and just laying down next to me and say " don't you dare smile. don't you smile. I'll kill you if you smile" the way he would say it would get me to laugh every time. I miss him every day. He was like a brother to me. I just wanted to talk about him keep his memory alive I guess. I'm no longer sad about it anymore. It just crossed my mind once in awhile.

Thank you. Similar situation? I hope that you are alright to. For me, every year gets easier. I'm still keeping in touch with his mother. She is a sweetheart.
losing someone is hard in the beginning but with time its start to be easy but keeping remamber him is the hard part , hope you too feel okay and better and good luck.
