So here's a little story for you. When u first watched durarara, I liked the idea of the dollars, some people with no rules, united anonymously, but I had no idea the dollars where readl, and there was this fad with people drawing black squares on their hand. So I decided to make a group called the black squares, no rules, no leaders, just draw a black Square on your hands and you're in. I had quite a few friends, and people I didn't even know joined in. I got some adults, over 60 members in a few months, most of them I didn't know. Time went on and the black squares didn't really die out, but we didn't really do anything. Recently, I found put the dollars where real and I didn't know what to do, it already exists, my group is just the dollars with ought a website. So I've decided to change the black squares a but. The black squares now had a pourpose, you still don't have to do anything, but we do have some suggestions on how to act. We are a force for good, we clean off spray paint, help out aro7nd the communitu, give to the homeless. Basically, the cool part of a gang, with the cool parts of a volenteer group. My new school has an actual issue with color gamgs, the crips the blood, the kings, the usual kind. But I plan on starting rumors in my school about the dollars, saying that it's a real gang, that gets its members online and they don't flash their colors, so they could be anyone. So people get paranoid. Basically I'm forming my own narrative, slyly. No one will know that I'm forming this story, I'm just another guy hearing rumors a little fun. Thought my dollars pals should know

This is how the dollars should be used

How they should be used? For rumors to stir up drama?

Like for instance, if I was to start a rumor about a "being" that judges your every move and might punish you if you don't behave, no one would believe it. But it will always be a thought remembered in the back of their head.

And all you would need is one simple scare to get people to believe it.

Say, that if you don't behave, this "being" will make you aware that you "did something bad" by breaking a glass in you kitchen.

It's something that could happen by itself, but if you were to "help" that outcome happen, it could seriously question any doubt that a specific person might have about the legitimacy of this "being"


I'm talking about God.


I'm not here to say that he doesn't exist, because I believe that there very well may be a God, but to play Devils advocate (no pun intended) who's to say that it didn't start just like this?


To finish this all up,

If you start to say things about the dollars, it could be the snowball that eventually has the power to level a city.

And plus

There's no harm in a little fun

...

It could honestly be a really solid way to find "the extraordinary" but you've gotta decide if that's worth it.

To add one more thing, the dollars (where you are) coukd almost run as a secret police force.

Because you never know who might be a dollar and what they might see.

Remember that one episode of drrr where some poeple were ousted as dollars?
Remember what happened when a group of people were negatively affected by said dollar and they assaulted the person?

Keep in mind all the good stuff you do is great, its awesome that you've gotten people to help clean up your city.
Vigilantism is not a good way to go, for starters, unless you have a backdoor into your police department and know their workings so you may slip around under the radar ala batman style. You will be persecuted irregardless of what happens.

Not that im saying that if you see someone that needs help, you shouldnt help, do help, make sure bullies dont have their power, if someone is being assaulted, call the proper authorities.
If you really want to get your community together, why not go to your district school board and register a community service 'team', go out and clean graffiti,or pick up litter, and have students who need community service hours join, it helps them, it helps you, it helps everyone in your community, and the best thing about it?
no one is in danger of retaliation if you do not start rumors,

yes and no.
fun could mean a harmless prank that spirals out of control.
then there is harm.
doing real world things as a dollar is great, but you guys forget to look at all the angles. once we're labeled as a 'gang'
we get a negative descriptor bound to us.
'Team','Group', etc are neutral descriptors.
meaning we're here to help.
gang implies and has implied for many years "an organized group of criminals."

Honestly I'm thinking of letting the squares die out, we'll I'm not gonna kill them, but I don't feel like pushing for them anymore. I have a new idra, a new little narrative to put forth, remember I only did all this so I could have a little fun. So, we start spreading rumors about the dollars as a gang, a gang with no color, that could be anyone, and we could say that they break the mold of a normal gang, that THEY try to help the community in their own "special" way. And maby when someone does something wrong, we give them a little "push" in the right direction, make them think the dollars are watching. And maby do some actual help on the side. Basically I'm going to ignore the squares and be a guiding hand in the psychological warfare that is the dollars for now.
In a sense the dollars as the community sees them wouldn't exist. You and I have both seen their sight, although they are a cybergang in concept, it's just a chan site. They wouldn't really exist in that sense, just rumors and maby us acting in their place sometimes

Well my plan has changed since the OP. The squares came before I knew the dollars existed
My idea for the narrative I want to form has changed, thank you all for your views and opinions, I'm trying to complete this plan before I start it. I guess another moral issue becomes who gets to decide what's right and what's wrong...

update, black squares move to pensylvania!

THAT'S RIGHT. The black squares witch I thought were dead, somehow made it to pensylvania. someone in the flodia squares was cousins with a mafia family in jeanette pensylvania, and now the squares exist there too!

Let's just hope the Black Squares don't turn into a repeat of Mikado Ryugamine's story.

Well considering the fact that I (the founder of the squares [changed my screen name]) have disowned and left the squares, and everyone in it now are having actual terf wars and selling drugs, the squares are a real freaking deal! I'm exited because something I made is a real thing, but also sad that two people have died indirectly because of me. Then again, worse has happened because of me before.

Seems like you've lived a pretty surreal life with all this black squares stuff. People like me dream about getting to experience things like that in their life, which is why I was drawn to this site. It seems like you've had enough for a life time though so how was it all? Exciting? Or was it just boring like normal life is?

It's not finished yet. man, my life is crazy and fun. I also had to deal with stalkers before. But it's not about what actually happens, it's about making fun with what does happen. trobble never comes looking for you, you got to make it happen. if you want something cool to happen, make it happen

for me it was normal. while I was in the squares we where just kids acting tough. the real gangsters where never with me.

I can't in good concious say that spreading rumors of a new gang in the area is a good idea. There's a very good possibility that you could be hurt once the rumors get traced back. Gang members are very territorial and have a tendency to solve it through violence
