I have no idea how to really start this off but here we go. So I like someone but I think if I told my friend she'd be unhappy about it cause she's always talking to him and when he's not around she makes it a point to go and search for him. People even think they're dating cause of how she acts around him, she's told me she doesn't have any feelings like that towards him but I still feel she might. Ontop of that he's been acting weird lately like hugging me when I joked around that I'm upset because of the teacher not letting me do something and the other day he hugged me for no reason, I always push him off cause my friend is around and now he thinks I dislike it (when I get hugged it's like >< awesome). I really want to tell my friend that I like him because she's probably my bestest friend atm but I'm still scared. What do you think I should do?

But if you don't want to do that, just tell her. The fact that she is your bestfriend can also be used as a comfort. You guys have to stick with each other, and can still be friends even if you like the same boy. Just make an deal first. If he chooses one person over the other, agree that there should be no resentment. Sure, the other can feel sad, but there should be no hate.
That's the best I can suggest now, but I still recommend a letter if you can't muster up the courage to talk face-to-face.
