New Puppy, Divorced Parents (2)

Hi there! So I have a problem that is hard for me and I am sure other people with divorced parents can understand. So, I have just gotten a new puppy, she's a German Shepherd Pit Bull mix. Why does the breed matter in this thread? Because they become attached often to one person, and it is my dog, so. Anyways, with my parents I decided to go week on week off (I spend a week with my mom and then a week with my dad and so on) and I obviously don't want that to hurt the dog when I am not here, so, I am looking for some kind of solution to the problem. So far I have been juggling around the thought of having her attach a little to my dad or step mom (the dog is at my dad's house) that way she wont be so lonely when I am not here, she also has two other dogs to play with (But one of them is being an ass and shunning her, hopefully she will warm up to her more).
I cannot bring the puppy back and forth with me because of differing family situations and it might be hard on the puppy. I can't possible live full time at my dad's house because it would crush my mother (plus it's not always the best living environment)
SO, I am here before one of the most helpful groups I know to ask you for some suggestions on what to do? How can I help the puppy be comfortable without me, is my thought about it a good idea or could it use a few adjustments? Please tell me what you think!

Btw if anyone is wondering her name is Lady :D

Maybe you could try getting the dog some sort of comfort object they can cling onto while you are gone? Or maybe leave something of yours for it?
