I feel like I'm drifting. I'm lost and confused and I don't know what I really want. I've tried making others happy for so long that when I finally try to make myself happy, I'm unsure how. One thing I know for sure that I want is to be with someone but that's the only thing I can think of. I've felt alone for so long in my life that I don't want that anymore, but I don't know what to do to get there or what would come after that. Even while typing this I'm having trouble coming up with the words to to describe how I feel about... well everything. This all has been frustrating me lately, this has been the first time I feel in control of myself and my life and I don't know how to start because I don't even know what I want to start towards.

If anybody has any advice on this, please share.

There's no simple answer to this. Though I hope you can take comfort in knowing you are, by no means, alone. Everyone feels this way to some extent throughout most of their lives.

Heyyy dear, it's okay. None of us know what we're doing, none of us know what we're heading towards and what's in store for us. Just remember that you're not alone, okay?
I might not really be the best person to offer advice for this because there's no real answer to the way you feel, but if you're feeling frustrated, it always helps to face your future and try to imagine what you'd like to be doing in about 10 years time and try working towards it slowly. Baby steps, okay?
And as for feeling alone... I'm not sure how to help you there but just know that there's a time and place for everything and I'm definite that you'll meet someone at just the right time, which might not necessarily be at the moment. So take heart and keep marching on! :)
