Hi. Um... Well, my friend wants to kill themselves. When I thought it was a joke, later on my friend kinda had a suicide attempt. Lots of people at my school know, but my friend's parents don't seem to know yet. I'm not quite sure what exactly I'm supposed to do or say?

Yeah, that's something you should either tell the police or her parents. I would say "x tried attempting suicide recently and I'm really worried something is going to happen to them." just keep it straight-forward. And if you're not comfortable telling their parents or the police, tell a teacher or a counselor. Don't wait, do it as soon as you can.
