In all seriousness, almost everyone on this site is addicted to anime, so if you are looking for friends that like anime, why don't you koin some of the chats (Kik, GroupMe, LINE, etc.)? People on here are generally welcoming, and I'm sure you'll be able to make some friends.

As a person who was in a similar position to you , you truly never know the people who like anime around you unless you ask.
You would have to stop looking for people purely based on that though.
