Sorry to say but I don't agree. While it's true positive psychology sometimes help (largely depends on your mentality), it's also highly controversial. Also I might add that for depressed people, chances are these words feel hollow. In the long run, saying self-praises over and over again can act as some kind of hypnosis and set you up for more disappointment in the future. The benefits of a stable self-esteem is higher than a high yet unstable one.
