Relapsed and need to stop (4)

1 Name: Litzun : 2016-05-19 22:41 ID:lyMtehsE [Del]

So, I am a cutter. Just strait out. I cut almost on a daily basis. I started with small scratches in 6th grade and gradually went up to full on blades. I promised (and broken those promises) too many people that I would stop, but I never really could. I cut almost everywhere on my body at least once. I'm not proud of it and question why I ever was. my most effected spot is on my thigh.I seriously need help to stop cutting once and for all. I went on a great streak, a quarter of a year without any cuts! And then I relapsed really bad. I want to double that, or make it permanent. Any help is highly appreciated. God bless and thank you so so much.

well to start you should throw away any razors or blades that you use to cut. When you want to cut try distracting yourself, listen to music, talk with a friend, play a game, take a walk, draw, wright, read, there are a lot of ways you could distract yourself. Tell a close friend what you're going through, it helps so much to have someone there for you. I used to cut and it helped me so much having someone to talk with. This might not be the best way to cope with stuff but smoking cigarettes helps me a lot. The buzz gives you kind a numb feeling, it's relaxing and helps for when I want to cut.

I hope this helps a little, If you need someone to talk with here's my kik VaSha98 or you can email me at vasha.dollars@gmail.com

Hello Litzun. I'm sorry that this is happening to you, and sincerely hope that you can stop cutting again. I know you have probably been told this before, but please remember that even if you are feeling down, hurting yourself can't help make your situation get better. Even so, I understand that we all need an outlet for our negative emotions. I agree with Vin in that you should try distracting yourself whenever you get the impulse to cut, or find other outlets like reading and music. I also agree that you should discard any unnecessary blades around the house. One thing that people do when they get the impulse to cut is that instead they take a pen and draw on the area that they were going to cut. This can help satisfy the urge to cut without hurting you. The dollars also have something called the butterfly project, which i'm linking below. I think that it could help you.
