What would you do if your boyfriend left you for a guy? I mean, if he cheated on you with this guy he just meet and then left you.

my friend boyfriend just done that to her and I need advice. So I know how to help her and support her. I never had this happen to me so I don't know how to deal with it.

hmm consoling someone is one of the hardest thing to do, even harder than apologizing. But even a little bit of effort you put in is a great big one.


Maybe it's not words that she needs but action? not sure if you're a guy or not but you can hug her if it's appropriate. Invite her over to your house and just let her vent. Or go to her house and let her vent a little. You don't need to tell her to forget about the guy.

Maybe when she's saying something like.."I hate this, fuck like, fuck everything, he just leaves me like it's okay to!"

I might respond something like, "I'm sorry, It's a hard thing to deal with and I can't imagine what you're going through. When a person who suddenly comes into your life, makes room in your heart and then he just leaves, of course you'd feel the ache of a gap that needs to be filled.'

^This is just an example, you can just restate and maker her realise what she is feeling. Aim to provide clarification of her emotions and not answers to it. Because she feels 'shaken' up for the reason she is confused.
