I've tried ignoring how I feel about a guy at school for awhile now because I believe my best friend has feelings for him. I really want to tell her how I feel about him but I'm scared that if she does like him she'll hate me for it...I just really want someone to talk to about it because I'm afraid to tell her..I have other friends but we all hang out and I wouldn't want my best friend finding out from someone else...is there anyone who wouldn't mind being that person I could talk to?...or give some advice on what to do...thanks

Start with "Hey, I've been really afraid to tell you, because I think you might like them too, but..."

Presenting it that way shows your consideration for your friend.

What you do after finding out if they care or not is up to you.

Do you believe your best friend like him, or do you know it?
My advice would be to confirm that first before making any decision.

Just straight up tell them. It may hurt them, but it's better than having them suffer not knowing the truth.
