Hi, i need some advice, my dad is having a surgery tomorrow and i know it's no big deal, but i still feel ... not scared but worried. I am going to be there so it's not like i'll be out of the loop but he has heart problems and if something goes wrong he could really die. My mom died 3 years ago so i know it feels to lose a parent and i don't want to lose another. he has a lot surgerys a lot of the time (so do i) but i feel i should be used to it by now. can someone tell me what i am doing wrong?

Why do you think you're doing something wrong? With what you've experienced, it's natural to be worried, and it's okay. Because we always think of the unknown factor.

I at times would worry as well, it's either I've grown up or matured but I've realised that there are factors that you can't have in your control. But live your life to the fullest with your dad, tell him you love him and be the best child you can be for him. Live a happy life, you should only grow stronger from here.
