Act humble.

Don't get defensive, no matter what she says. Sometimes even if they don't mean to, the surprise of hearing it can cause them to say things that may hurt your feelings.

be honest and think on the words she and you say and dont get defensive

That's like engineers summoning their boss to warn them something will go wrong, or a man seeing the priest to admit he did some sins.

The only cases that's ok to tell your mom is you're gay, IMO, are:

- you're telling your mom about your day: you had a crush.

- you're asking for advice. (Because helping children a a role of their parents)

And you don't seem to want to do that. Your comment reads like you're bearing your being lesbian as a burden, which is not.

Or in any chat, when that's relevant and in context.

You don't tell you're mom, everyday, that the earth is round. Telling that's you're lesbian is alike.
