Hi fellow Dollars members. I'm a 18 year old senior in high school going through a huge amount of stress with homework, tests, projects, color guard practices, and this huge project due at the end of the school year called senior project which is required to graduate.

So does anyone know anyways to relieve my stress so that I don't become overwhelmed? Thanks if you can.

Yo! I am also in highschool and we had something very similar. I played a lot of fighting games when i had free time. It helped me even more because i was able to customize the character to look like me (So I could live through them and fight people).
Or you could go to a neighborhood park. People watch.stuff like that.
Hope this helps!

Physical activity of any kind would be a good idea, as would doing things you enjoy, whether it be reading, hanging out with your friends or anything else. Try out anything you think might help you and then stick with whatever works best for you.

Where you live will often limit or enable different methods of stress relief. Whenever I feel stressed out I go out and shoot off some guns at a private range I am allowed to go to.
Other times I go out and watch the stars, when alone it is somewhat nice, but it is much more refreshing and many other positive adjectives if you have a friend.

Hm, this might be just me since I've been told by others that it doesn't really help, but I enjoying tearing a shelf or some part of my room down and organizing the stuff. It calms me down a bunch. I also like to pointless sorting, sort of like a mindless work, or play a video game where you have to clear objectives that aren't too hard to get a perfect score in.

What I'm trying to say is to do something relaxing that you can gain a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in. As for schoolwork, writing down everything that I plan to do neatly and completely planned also gives a successful feeling. (Although I might not always follow that plan)

I agree with darkrose, just do what you enjoy doing. Wether it's reading, listening to music, drawing, whatever it is. If you enjoy it, take some time out and do it.
