Not sure if this would be considered a personal problem or something else (please tell me and I'll fix it right away) but in the area Tarquin, Bard, and I are in there are a lot more thugs popping up. It used to be really peaceful around us but now we have a lot of robberies, assaults, and all sorts of annoying shit (Today I got a cup of mcdonalds coffee thrown at me -_-). Is anyone else having this problem and if so is there any recommendations on how we can all stop this? None of the three of us want this town to turn into another criminal playground.
I had a problem like that for a while last year. It stopped when I started carrying a big-ass knife around on my hip and stopped trying to hide my shoulder glock. In other words, large weaponry is the best solution. Speak softly and carry a big Jericho941.
There isn't much you can do on your own about it. You can try getting involved with something like a school and starting an organization to help clean up or something. If it is something you wan to do on your own then don't think going out and fighting or carrying a weapon with you will help it. Then you just become one of the thugs.
We were thinking of getting a group of Dollars members in our area and try patrolling a bit around our town, that way if thugs start hurting others we know someone can jump in and help. However this sounds both cliche and risky.
Honestly this sounds like you need to get people to prioritise self defence and just look out for each other. Maybe try get the local council to do something. The patrol idea sounds like a neighbor hood watch styled thing which could work but it sounds like something the council could form. Overall just keep safe and look out for people carrying weapons.
