So my parents got a phone call from school saying someone wrote a message in one of the classrooms saying they were gonna bomb the school. I'm actually legitimately scared cuz now they are gonna have police all over the school and, making it very uncomfortable for me. The fact that someone could just come in a school and do something like that just...ive never been this afraid in a long time.

@Sora a bomb threat to a school is a very serious thing. I don't know if the person who wrote the message was a troll or not but if not that is scary. Don't bash on people who have legit fear.

Sora is right. More than likely it is a sick joke to scare everyone.
However, that being said there are a great many factors to take into consideration when trying to determine the legitimacy of such a threat. For example, if you live in a big city you may be in danger, but if you live in a small town you don't have to take it nearly as seriously as you are. Another factor to consider is time. With the passing of time the danger of an attack is diminished.
You must keep things in perspective and not panic. Most of the time these kind of threats are never acted on. If they were serious they wouldn't warn everyone. They would do it out of the blue because with all those cops around it will be very hard to get in with a bomb and out before it detonates, unless, of course, it's remote detonated.
Try to stay calm and don't think about it too much. Just act normal and let the police handle it. They are there to protect you, not make you nervous or uncomfortable. If you are religious, try praying for devine protection. It helps immensely in these situations. Remain calm and trust the police to do their job. Please keep us posted on any news you get from the cops or the school.
