My closest friend hasn't spoken to me properly for half a year and it really hurts me. They seem to ignore me and forget I'm there.
They make me feel insignificant and lie about wanting to see me but I still love them.
At the moment they have a girlfriend and last time she did I was ignored and replaced (I would describe the current situation like Rose and Pearl from Steven Universe if that makes sense).
When I think or talk about them it's like I'm talking about someone that I don't know is dead.
This is a serious problem as I am missing weeks of school and am failing my exams. Soon I'm going to college but I don't want to leave behind my memories of her. I don't think I've done anything worth while and just want to forget it all now.
If anyone wants to give advice, share a similar story or listen to mine I would feel blessed. Thank you

My friends have a tendency to freeze me out, but it never ends well. I've cut people out of my life, and never once felt remorse. My advice? Try freezing her out for a bit. It's been my experience that people want what they think they can't have, or just miss that person nagging at them for attention. Seems to me that she is treating you like a backup friend, someone who is only there on the other has no other choice. If this is the case, pardon my language, but cut this bitch out. If you are only her backup, then she isn't worth it. And if you are in need of friends, there are some great people on this site who I'm sure would welcome you in. Good luck!

Thank you. I've tried this for a while but I'll keep at it! This person only sees people once every three months so I was worried about them.
