So my friend asked out a girl for me without asking me
She rejected me pretty hard know I'm confused see we were friends before this and she hasn't changed a bit she acts like nothing ever happened it kinda makes me feel mad but more on this she hangs around me which makes me feel good but when she isn't I get a pain right in my heart I just want to be around her but with all this happening I don't know how to feel before my friends asked her out for me I was like this and now its worse

Is it weird to say I want to hug her?
Protect her?
Make sure she's safe?

I don't know what to do

I would just stay friends with her. She rejected you probably and she still wants to be friends just keep things like that. If you actually value her as a friend and don't want to lose her just keep it that way.

I think you should maybe try to move on. If there is no hope left there is no use fretting over it. Better to get it over and done
