How do you deal with emptiness? (7)

1 Name: Anonymous : 2016-02-04 11:26 ID:iRHcxixc [Del]

I've been in this situation before, I felt empty and useless to others, meaningless, like an empty box that you can't open. I can't (and couldn't at that time either) open my own self or fill my own self in with anything like love, caring for someone else more than the rational way that makes us all humans, I couldn't even do anything about family at one point. Then I remembered the only person I ever truly loved and it kinda worked, the emptiness was beginning to go away... Until I lost that person again after not even talking to her... I haven't even seen her in 3 years and I feel like I am already getting back into the abyss called emptiness... If you ever experienced anything like that or still do, let's help each other. I will try to give you my advice at least, if you need it...and if it will ever be of any help that is...

I try to deal with that feeling of worthlessness by finding something to do, hopefully something useful.

You might as well relish the emptiness while you can. Because as time progresses you will find stuff to 'fill' yourself with until it becomes too much. Then that emptiness you have right now will be something you can refer to and use to your advantage.

I use to feel that emptiness as well, I stopped loving those close to me and knew that the many things we do, are meaningless. It's not depression. But look at it like a glass and a jug.

To fill up the jug with water, you're only allowed to fill it up using your glass. That's the law of life and purpose. There are many around you that always keep the glass half full to satisfy themselves. So when it comes to filling the glass to a full and then pouring it into a jug, they will only put half of the amount that is needed and will go back to being only half empty again.

Those that are empty glasses, like you, will see that there is room to put a lot more water in and then empty it into your jug. Your jug is your being, and character. Your glass is your mind and life. The water is your life experience and feelings of fulfillment.

>>6 No probs. Ah I forgot to finish my imagery.

>>5 (continuation) Thus your jug is filled up faster and comes in handy to quench you later on.
