Accused of Killing (15)

I don't actually know what to do right now, but vent out my worries here. Here's the case to those who are even interested. (which i doubt there'd be any) My family have this titled property which we own. to be honest I knew there'd be so many conflicts, since we're claiming it back after leaving it for so many years. People who lived there thought that the island is from the government which would be free for them to use.

we wanted the land back, clean. We needed it so that we could sell it because we're having financial problems. there'd been so many conflicts and fights. there was even this once where they pointed guns at us(my family).

we lost so much just to get it back, and when things are finally getting better( we proved that the land was really ours) someone died, someone who hated us so much.

And it got everyone thinking we did it. now we have so many threats, that they're gonna kill us. we couldn't sell the land. my brother died he was killed. It's not much of a big case in Philippines too, it's treated like it's normal. It makes me wanna cry so bad.

How do we help?

3 Name: FluffyIce : 2016-01-16 09:22 ID:aQblZd56 [Del]

I just need some comfort actually. I don't know what to do, whether I'd give up on the land or continue pursuing it.

I'm certain many members, including myself, are here to support you. To be honest though, when it comes to decision making, no one will know better than you. The best we can do is propose solutions, but this is an extremely personal matter and I'd hate for anyone to interfere negatively. I know I'm going back and forth but I suppose it's because I'm having a hard time discussing something so serious where I might actually influence the outcome.

Oof. We're here for you. But i'd hate for any of us to cause more damage.

Thank you very much. I'll try to get the right decision although it's hard, a lot are against it. however I don't think I'm prepared to let go of the land my brother worked so hard for. Thank you guys :)

As much as I'd like the Dollars in the Philippines to rally with you to get these people off your land, it definitely is a dangerous task you and your family are completing. I'm really sorry to hear about your brother and like FindMuck said we're here to comfort and support you as much as we can.

But a few questions, is there a way for someone to mediate the situation between you and these people on your brother's land? Or are those guys so riled up they're just shooting people on sight?

If they're willing to listen, get them to go off the land for a little while until it is sold and then when it is, you won't visit them anymore and whether they still live on the land or not is their choice.

(sorry if this sounds arrogant of me btw)

Holy fucking shit, wtf happened with your family?

9 Name: FluffyIce : 2016-01-18 06:04 ID:aQblZd56 [Del]

@kokkuri-san, well we actually showed the people we own the land and showed some proofs. even got the police involved but no it didn't help a bit. they just think we paid the police and high rankings. they think we're just rich peps who went there to bring them suffering.

they don't shoot at sight. if they did we can pile some case on them, they attack us while hiding more like hit and run.

@NZPIEFACE, after my brother's death my family moved to far away places.. I'm left alone, making the decision whether I'd try to take it back or not.

some people say they're monitoring me to threaten me, they keep on scrolling my fb, twitter and ect. so I ran to this site.

>>10 Can't you forcefully evict them? I mean, it is your property and you didn't invite them. And call the goddamned police already.

Are authorities even an option?

How did others end up using the land if it belonged to your family?

If you haven't already, I would suggest trying to sell the property to the previous residents.

Depending on how bad your financial situation is, it might be best to simply try to remove yourself and your family as completely as possible from the situation. You would lose the property / money, but (if I understand correctly) you would decrease the chance of any more deaths or of you or your family being convicted for murder. Just try to make sure you're not getting tunnel vision.

This is what I could make of the information you gave us.
Please let us know when / how the situation smooths out! I wish you luck in your decision making.
