So I've been considering moving out but keep talking myself out of it. I'm starting a new job on the 11th and will be able to support myself with it. Problem is, I'm also engaged and would have to support my fiance while she finishes out her degree and tries to get into medical school. Plus both of us are going to be graduating by the end of summer so we will have student loans to pay off coming up soon. Both of us are finding it difficult to continue living at home due to us not quite getting along with our parents anymore and we often find ourselves getting a hotel room for a night or a weekend just to get away from our parents. Point is I'm looking for some advice. To anyone who has moved out and has a place of their own, would you recommend renting or buying a house right away instead of getting an apartment or should we get an apartment? Another question would be should we get roommates? Not a whole lot of our friends can be trusted with money so it's not something we've really though much about. Just wanna know what you guys think, pretty much any input would probably be helpful here.
