So long story short me and my brother are moving out pretty soon from my parents house and are getting our own place. Both me and him have stable jobs and go to community college plus the rent is in our budget. Though i still want to know if there are any money saving tricks and some things to know for first timers. Much appreciated.

Don't go to a party every night, take a recipe book, and that's all IMO.

If you're in college you maybe won't even have to eat meat on the evening, so cooking will be easier.

And plan your revisions.
