i have a really close friend. i love her so much. lately her depression has been worsening and im afraid she's going to hurt herself. the only problem is, she's an internet friend. i can't really do anything to stop her or just hug her and say its going to be ok-- i feel so so so so useless. if anyone has been in a similar situation, can you give me some tips maybe,,? i don't think i'm doing enough and im afraid because i love this friend very much

There's not much you can do as an online friend but be there for her. You may not be there for her in real life, but you are there for her nonetheless. Support from friends can go a long way to help those with depression.
