Can We Auto-Correct Humanity? (7)

1 Name: Szayne : 2015-12-03 23:46 ID:Dd4lvHQc [Del]

Though I may find technology as helping, entertaining, and mostly positive results will come upon my mind if asked if technology actually has more great advantages than its disadvantages but... I was wrong.

self-worth, , connection, loving, and the truth, are lost.

Fame is more important than what's right, Self-worth are counted with ratings of likes and followers, the truths are neglected, racism everywhere, most popular songs are talking about drugs and sex.

Technology has given us what we really want but at the same time, stolen everything we really need.

And that my friend, we can't auto-correct.

times have changed, and the media is one of the biggest causes of this. I agree.

but that doesn't mean that humanity has gotten any worse. we can still feel compassion, and love, and warmth, so humanity is still wonderful.

while some connection and truth is lost through social media, people haven't left behind face-to-face communication.

even if some things are lost, some other things are gained. like knowledge, friendships, and sometimes even love.

I don't think that this world needs to be auto-corrected. it has it's flaws, but it's still an amazing place, and technology gives it more potential to be the best it can be.

I think technology just shows us how bad humanity was. It was always bad. It always needed correcting. Before we were limited to news papers, word of mouth, and the occasional TV broadcast that didn't cover every story in the world. But now, we can see it all, anytime we want, in plane sight. With no embellishment or corrections or single paragraph in the least popular areas of a newspaper.. We can finally see each other and we find we need work. I wouldn't blame the technology. Just try to use it best we can. The biggest thing we've accomplished is crowd sourcing! For charity and projects for the better. And it's amazing! Imagine what else we can do years from now.

Fame is more important than what's right, when was that ever not the case? You yourself decide what's right, but unless people listen to you and you rise to fame, being right or wrong does not matter, since it won't affect anything.
If you as a person depend on social acceptance in order to increase your feeling of "self-worth", then of course, like and views determine it. They are a representation of society, unless you evaluate your worth by different means, social acceptance determines it, that's obvious.
Truths are neglected, if this refers to the media, you're right, but once again, that's how it always was. People change information while spreading it.
Racism? You know how, for example, black people were treated in the past? Segregation. How is it worse now compared to then?
Most popular songs, personally, this doesn't affect me since I don't listen to the radio nor go to parties, but I guess most popular are the songs which can be played at parties, and fitting for parties, sex and alcohol or whatever are the most fitting topics. However, by no means is modern music only focusing on that. To say so would mean ignoring a huge percentage of the interprets out there.

Dtop seeing technology as the root of all evil and accept it for what it is: the representation of its creators and users

Auto-correct humanity? Lol. Theoretically speaking, if it was actually going to happen, every single person in the world would have to be murdered by Jesus and then Jesus would have to asexually reproduce flawless beings. I would love to see that. All that would have to happen in an instant, seeing as it's called auto-correct.
