I dont have many friends and i was wondering what kinda of stuff i could do to make some, i'm very shy i dont laugh much but i have good grades so people think im just a weird anti social otaku, how could i make friends as an introvert?

Heya, I don't really know how to help but you can try a few ways. You can try by greeting them first, such as Hi, Hello, Good Morning, How was your day?, etc. Then you can compliment them by saying, They look great today, Nice shirt, Cool shoe, etc. Start up a conversation, about their day, their favorite thing, and so on. You can also straight get to a point when the timing is good enough. Just man up and ask them if you could be their friends. No one will be born alone forever, I'm sure you'll have friends soon. You just gotta take the first step, maybe you won't have much, but a few real friends would do, even one. I hope I helped out :P

you can also put up poster , if you want (not a great idea to do this , if you ask me ) Like , hello , I like ( a shit load of stuff) I am intersted in ( some more stuff )Add some things you would want in a friend, like , for example, if you want a friend with similar ideogies as you , write that .Write ,also that you're looking for someone who you can end a friendship relationship with , just in case . There should be an anime club at your school , or , you can talk to someone in studenet services.
Hang out at the manga section of the libary . That's a good way , too . :)

Show others that you are not that diffrent from them even know your an otaku

As >>2 said, a school club would be an great choice. It will force you into a more social environment with people that have the same interests as you. I met a lot of my friends in high school in clubs.

find another otaku! ^_^ it´s not about trying to be normal, be who you are and that will help you to find the people that matches you the best! ^_^ don´t let anyone change you! there is plenty of otakus here in this world. so my suggestion is that the moment you hear anyone mention an anime or manga then go and talk to them! you have something in common so i believe it will be easier to find a subject to talk about right? ;)

u have good grades, thats good cause when u hear that somebody have problem with an exam or smth like that - maybe offer him help, this will also help u with gathering friends :)

Join a band, choir or something along those lines. That's a good place to start, but like>>9 said, find someone with similar interests. These in my experience are the best kind of friendships, ones that you have something in common with.
