sorry if this comes up twice (my internet is odd) but a few days ago i googled what love feels like or how do i find out if i am in love i am 22 and i have had other partners i know i never loved them or considered loving them iv been with someone for over a year or so i have "liked'' them but i dont know if i am falling in love i dont know if there is a purpose to loving them i just dont understand this feeling . im the kind of person who wont react much to someone suffering or someone being happy but recently i am more caring for people and feel more ish i odnt know how to explain. sorry for bad english. anyways when i googled it i found this "Unfortunately, being in love usually doesn't last forever. love is complicated, it can appear and disappear easily, and you can fool you're self into thinking you love someone. but love can last forever, and it does. if you're in love and going out with someone, but than you find yourself liking them less, it doesn't mean anything accept you are bored. so do something fun with you're partner instead of giving up. love isn't always happy and stuff, because sometimes the person you love really annoys you, you cant stop thinking about them and you try your best to be perfect for them. this might not help but look for love and you will find it.

If you want to dedicate to getting into a relationship then by all means do what you desire, but I may fade and not be the same. Infatuation is a strong thing and when it goes grey a relationship can too. Dont be scared though! Love is a good thing and can prosper and burn like fire if you let it. Just take things slow and steady. Let life take its path and relax. Rant over.

If all the love songs make sense then you know it's love.
Simple, really.

I guess it all depends on whether or not you believe a friendship can last forever. If you feel like you can be friends with one person and feel like that friendship will always remain then there's really no reason why you couldn't find someone you love and keep that going, in my opinion. But as someone who's never been in a real relationship, I can say that love isn't everything and if you never find love, that's perfectly fine.

I hope you find love one day so you can get some experience and answers on your own, "prefer not to say", but if you don't just try to enjoy life and what you have because the chances are that not a lot will REALLY last a lifetime, you know? Hopefully someone got something out of that somewhere....

I think Neko above hit the nail on the head :) I personally don't believe 'love' as a concept can be described, but if what you believe it to be can be associated with a person, then that's all you need <3

So my conclusion to my own thoughts is i think it can last forever and ill be sure when i do love them and i wont be afraid if i end up loving the person im with im sure in the end everything will be ok. thank you all again.

I was looking through old posts and found this! I was with the person that I was thinking about while writing this post since september 2015. its now 2019 and we are still together and I definitely know what love is now. I was actually 19 when I wrote this but didn't want people to know so they wouldn't think i'm some dramatic teenager or something haha.
