I was bullied. Never anything physical or to bad but it left a mark, but i have a question to anyone who were bullied. Would you forgive the ones who bullied you and more importantly, Would you thank them?

They probably did lots of terrible things to you, but the ones who bullied me also helped make me who I am today. I forgive them for what they did but i will never trust them ever again.

I am scared to think who i might have been without having this experience.
And i don't know if you guys think the same way but i want to hear your thoughts.

And if there are anyone out there who bullied someone, was it intentional? If it was unintentional when did you realize what you had done? If it was intentional, do you regret it?
(please do not attack anyone who have unintentionally bullied someone or someone who regrets what they have done)

It's good you forgave them. But depending on how long it has been since they bullied you, they probably completely forgot about you. Bullying is just a simple way of relievimg stress and taking out your anger and frustration. I don't mind bullies, so long as they learn their lesson soon. (Getting beaten up themselves is also a pretty way to make them learn their lesson)

I was bullied through part of primary school by this guy called Mattias, he was just a total ass and frequently he tried to make me trip and fall. I remember once he put his foot in front of me, I fell and hit my face in a nearby wall.
This other guy was called Manuel and the worst thing is that he was a sort of "friend" to me. Sometimes he would be too rough and push me until I fell or would use "wrestling moves" until I yelled Uncle, also annoying as fuck.

Would I forgive them? Actually yes I did, these people even If they were annoying where just immature. That doesn't mean they are friends of mine but if I see them on the street I can actually say hi with no hint of a grudge.

Some people don't even realize that they're bullying others. Sometimes it's just an automatic process that's deemed as acceptable depending on the norms and cultures (like when you purposely ignore someone. It's not really obvious, but when enough people do that it can be considered as bullying). They might even think that it's harmless. Kinda hard to resent people like that.
I mean,I might get angry at that time and at some point plainly loathe them, but I'll just forget eventually. Keeping grudges are tiring after all.

With the guys from my school you better turn around and let them die or something if something happens to them.They are scums.They are good for nothing.I wouldn't forgive me,not even if they beg for my forgiveness

>>6 I feel Neko made a great point about grudges. Let them go or they get tiresome, maybe you don't even need to forgive them, just be apathetic about their cause and if they bully you, stand up to them and try to keep cool. Surrounding yourself by friends will help too.

I was not really bullied but unkind things were said to me over the internet by my 'friends', it occurred for more than a month so I suppose it is bullying but then I brought it on myself. Out of anger I said something I never meant to and so the whole friend gang of this person turned against me. I forgave him and I can't hate him anyway since I love him.
