Ask her if something is wrong. If there's a problem then help her out.

Its possible she's just Shy. try talking about something shes really passionate about.

Hang out a lot more and try to get comfortable around her, and her around you. if this doesn't work after a month I'd say break it off

sometimes girls just want their boyfriends to stay beside them without saying anything. words are overrated. conversations are not that important in a relationship.
