Patching things up (8)

Hi, so recently, I finally added up the courage to tell one of my old friends I'm sorry for hurting her. In 9th grade, I hurt her really bad, because I lied about something I really shouldn't have. I was a real ass to her, but eventually she got back at me and took all of my friends. Today, I finally said, "I'm sorry." She forgave me, but I'm not really sure if she really does forgive me or not. Can someone please help me think of a better way to apologize? Um, I know she likes art, and some anime.

Hello Nylfie,

I think you should maybe get her something and if that doesn't work tell her you are really sorry and what you did was wrong and you really mean it.

I am very sorry if this doesn't work. I not really good at this but this worked for me when I did something very bad to someone.

Thank you so much! I'll do that.

Have a serious conversation with your friend. Express your sorrows and try and see if she'll be real with you and maybe you can soon have your friendship back. (:

>>1 i don't think getting her anything will help, but like @Sasura said, you should have a proper conversation with her. hope it goes well.

Merely saying, "I'm sorry" won't work because this sounds like it has been a long time and you apologized after she took your friends. It also doesn't fix much. She probably believes you don't really mean it. If she likes anime and art, draw her a beautiful portrait of her favorite anime expressing your feelings for the situation. Trace it, color it, cut it, make it a poster, etc. As long as it can show your feelings and not just a picture

>>4 Sasura is right. You guys need to sit down and talk through this. I'm the world we live in "I'm sorry" holds almost no meaning.

no tricks, and no fancy lines or anything, just sit down with her alone and truly express to her how you feel, if there is even the slightest hint of friendship left in her heart for you, then she'll forgive you.
