So I am a first year college in nursing right now in a pricey school and my father just gave me money enough for me to finish my college. I would love to proceed in med. because thats what i really want to do but the money my father gave me is just enough to finish my nursing with a few excess. And here I learned that my dad had just retired from his work (he's already 60). Im kinda worried whether should i do something about this or just continue being a good student. And also can i really proceed in med or just stop at nursing??

I'm sorry that I can't help answer your question better as I have just barely started getting ready for community college and am not all that familiar with the system I guess you could say. But anyways it sounds to me like your worried about your dad being comfortable financially in his later years (forgive me if I've come to the wrong conclusion.) and you want to give the money back. Now I don't know anything about the relationship you have with your father but the way I see it your dad has faith in your abilities to do you what you need to do so you can do what you really want to do and if it were me I'd continue with med school so if you want you can send your father some money every now and then if you want to pay him back. I hope I've helped in some small way and I'll check back every now and then to see if you want to talk anymore to me about this.
