I'm going to be telling a story that is about how recently my life has been entirely flipped and completely turned upside down. It should take too long so just sit where you are.
I was born and raise most of my life in West Philly. While growing up, I spent a majority of my time on the playground just chilling out, relaxing, and often playing street basketball on the school yard court. But recently there were a couple of older guys who obviously had no good intentions, and they had tried to make a commotion. I had a fight with them and my mother was nervous about my recent actions and she flew me down to California to live with my uncle and my aunt. I had landed and called for a taxi, it had come closer I had noticed the licence plate number was FRESH and the driver had dice hanging from the mirror. I guess it was an uncommon cab, but I decided to forget about it and asked him to take me to my destination. I had arrived around the time of 7, or quite possibly 8. I was very casual with the cabby and had told him; Yo Homes, smell ya later. Which of course could be considered an outdated term, but whatever. I looked at my kingdom, I was finally there; to sit on my thrown as the prince of Bel-Air.
