Does anybody know how to make friends? I'm having a hard time to speak or go to people in my school. I'm very introverted and never say a word to any one. Like the other day a girl talked to me and ask "why don't you ever talk?" I said in a very low voice "I don't know" and I wasn't loud enough for her to hear. Then walked off like some demands in the movies, the only thing I ever wanted was some friends. Then more the days go on the more I become depressed and the more I think of killing myself. So if anyone has any tips or anything, I'll gladly like to hear.

Killing yourself because you have no one?
You get depressed only for this...

You think doing nothing will help you? Nope. It won't make everything better.

I don't know if this will help, but I found a website link that have some good advice on how to make friends even if you are an introvert.

Just try to strike up conversation with anyone, in my opinion. Volunteer for a lot of activities or clubs.

One thing that will help out, if you are old enough. is a job that consists of dealing with others. You learn more how to interact with others and get paid while doing so. After working as a clerk, now a delivery driver, I can talk to others a lot easier. Of course that is on the surface and I still can't strike up a random conversation like others do. But I don't have the anxiety while talking to others.

When you're making friends, you usually look for people with similar interests as you so that you don't feel left out when talking to them. Remember what your interests or passions are, and, even if it isn't something big, something you hold dear and something that can connect you to other people.
I didn't have a lot of friends too, but music led me to meet some awesome people. Good luck and stay positive, I'm sure you can do it. ^^

How about joining a small club or find a new hobby? Usually you will meet new people and some are more accepting than others.

I also had a hard time making friends. Because no one really understood me. But then I met some people from Online forums and we get along well. I kinda found my circle of friends/clique.
Down feel to upset about it, eventually it will get better. Like in my case. I also was very depressed at a time but I overcame it and it's in the past now. Killing yourself is not an option :). Good luck and don't give up!

Try finding a hobby that catches people's eye and makes them notice you. Make sure you have fun doing it. When they try to talk to you just smile and say something.
