Yesterday my dad and I went to buy new glasses for the school year and I found the ones I was looking for but they didn't have the color I wanted. I bought them anyway because I still like them.
The thing is the whole visit was stressful. First my dad had to drive a long ways to get there and second was he thought the glasses made me look like a boy and was saying that "if you get teased it's not my fault, you asked for it."
I got really dishearten but I digress. Anyways, I'm still thinking about getting the glasses in a different color and they have them it would be the same price as the others only it would take about six weeks. I don't mind waiting that long but I'm worried about what my dad thinks since he went though all that trouble.
I already called the eye-place if they have the other-colored glasses and they said they would come back with more information other then what's been said above, but I don't know if their gonna call my dad or me.
I'm just worried about my dad being impatient and being mad at me, but at the same time I don't want to be stuck with glasses I semi-like. Please help

I don't think you need to worry too much. When I went to get new glasses I realized most of them are unisex. They are designed to look good on either male or female. I almost ended up getting a pair that I think was intended for females, but I thought it looked good on me.
It just comes down to personal preference really. If you think those glasses will look better on you in a different color then I would probably wait. If not get what you want.
Glasses are expensive too, I got what I wanted and paid around 400-500 dollars with a discount of $300. You are the one who will be wearing it, so get what you want most.
