Ok so I'm interested in this girl at my college. She's really cute, probably the cutest girl I know at my school IMO. She loves games and anime just like I do, actually that was one of the first things that we noticed we had in common. But she has a problem w/ my smoking, which I've kind of cleaned up a bit. She's younger than I am, but she kinda has more experience than I do as far as dating and relationships are involved. She started showing interest in me awhile back, but since then she hasn't ever attempted to get closer to me. I've tried to get closer to her, like message her every once in a while, but shed usually give me one word answers and eventually stopped answering me . If I invite her to hang out w/ me sometime, but she'd flake on me.
One random night we did actually have a conversation, or rather she was talking alot more than I was, which was good, i liked that. But after a while she just started being distant again.I learned from her friends that she's a virgin who loves who's afraid of having sex because of a bad experience with her sx-boyfriend and is now having a bunch of dating fails up to now, so she's very guarded. But she's telling her friends that she thinks I want to date her. I mean I do but its kind for hard to date someone who's being distant to me on purpose. On top of that I have a secret too: I'm also a virgin w/ who had a bad experience w/ his ex-girlfriend and has had a bunch of dating fails until now. I want her to know that I'm really interested in getting to know her as a person before I even get anywhere near having sex with her. The only thing is I'm afraid to tell her I'm a virgin because then I don't know how she'll react. . .What should I do?

I'm not really sure what advice to give aside from the regular "If you like her, then go for it man," but that's really what'd I'd say. Especially since she has also shown interest in you! And both seem to have similar wants when it comes to love life and, like, how fast you'd want to move in your relationship. So I'd open up to her like you opened up to us strangers on the internet, and tell her your similar experiences. That'd be more likely to help you two bond than drive her away, I believe. Sometimes you never know until you go through with something. Tell her, see how things go. If they work out in your favor, go for it!

Well here's the other thing I'm worried about. Its not just the fact that I havent told her I'm a virgin yet but I havent told any of my friends IRL either. I don't know if anyone's figured it out yet, and its not like anyone can't ask, they just don't ask so I don't tell(I also wanna avoid any kind of public embarassment, cus that's kind of happened to me before). I kinda run my life by the "You don't ask, I don't tell unless necessary" but I think she believes that I'm just like the rest of her dating fails lol.

What the heck is being a virgin that embarrassing? Who would care, men? 5 years from now, would anyone care? Or just maybe the people you call "friends" can't just accept that fact. You get what I mean. The task is simple! YOU are YOU. Don't let anyone change that fact. If I had the best chocolate cake in the world and it smelt bad to other people, would you still eat that cake?! I mean, sure, I would! IT'S THE BEST EEFFIN' CAKE IN THE WORLD.
