I've been Youtube binging lately and trying to fight of jet lag when a video brought back a seemingly long lost memory. In middle school, I remember almost stomping down the hallway to my math class "This is so stupid. Why do I have to do this?" I wanted to yell at the superintendent for being so stupid. This was all because at that moment in middle school, I realised how utterly useless school was and how flawed it was in every way. Now back in the present, I watched Boyinabands latest hit, Don't Go To School that was uploaded four months ago. Then after binge watching some more videos I came across a react video to the song from The Reel Rejects. The guy then said how he was a high school drop-out and never really mentioned college. Then he and girl went on to explain how people go to college and get a diploma, but are then in debt. Then they tell their kids to go to college to get a diploma because they're in debt then all of the sudden the kids are in debt.
Long story short, questions I have asked before but forgot about have resurfaced and now I am once again anxious for my future and this generation. But then again, why should I when everyone surrounding me is already a blubbering idiot? So I conclude this pointless rant by asking you the same question I entered in as the name of this thread: Is college worth it?

Unless you're planning on going into some field that doesn't require at least a bachelor's degree, college is almost definitely worth it. I wouldn't recommend going to a university that you know you absolutely can't afford, but job security and income increase significantly as education does.
