Always fighting with my sister (7)

1 Name: 354 : 2015-08-02 14:54 ID:eG4iQNLe [Del]

I have an older sister. She is 19 and I'm 13.
We always fight. She hates me for no reason.
I'm sick of fighting everyday. I want her to stop this.
I'm not saying that she is ALWAYS the one who starts the fights but most of the time it's her.

I don't hate her or anything. She is just annoying. Every time putting the fault on me. Like today, she started to yell at me for a bag of cookies... She was searching for the bag then she found the bag open and she asked me if I ate some cookies yesterday and I said yes.She started to yell at me and insult me because I left the bag a little bit open..

Since I'm a kid, we always fight. I never asked someone for help because no one believes me and everyone always say that its my fault. I remember one day we were fighting and then my mom was talking with her in a room. I was hiding because I wanted to see if my sis was going to lie and say that I started everything.

I heard my mom telling her 'you're jealous of her right?'.
I was shocked. I tough my sis would say No but she didn't say anything. I don't understand why she is jealous of me.

I want her to stop yelling at me for no reason and I don't know what I should do. I just want everything to stop. It's really annoying. I talked with my mom the other day and the only thing my mom said was 'she is your older sister. Stop insulting her'.
I never insulted my sis for no reason.

We always fight for stupid reasons. When she yells at me I get mad and tell her 'OK JUST STOP YELLING STOP THIS FUCKING SHIT'
But it makes everything worse, she just keeps yelling at me more so now I try to calm down.

After we fight she comes back and starts to talk with me like nothing happened. I don't like this. Someone please help. I don't want this to continue please.

Ah, sister fights. Trust me, my sister and I literally fought everyday. It became as bad as fist fights sometimes.

Most older siblings would be jealous of the younger siblings because they tend to be more spoiled than they were. For example, I am able to do many activities that my sister couldn't because my parents have more money now that before.

Parents also tend to experiment a little with their first child since it's their first time taking care of a kid. With more experience, they have an easier time with the younger one and also tends to give them more attention than the older child.

It's normal for the older one to be jealous of the younger one, and I know that since I am the middle child of my family. Unfortunately, it's sometimes hard to reason with the older one. The only thing I can say is just try to avoid her for a bit to let her calm down. When she is mad, she won't think properly and would only act on her current emotions, so telling her to shut up and such would make things worse. If avoiding or talking to her calmly doesn't work, try to ask your mom for help. It's not guaranteed to work, but it's better to try than to let it go on.

When your Mother said jealousy, she might have meant that your sister seeks more attention and guidance from her parents. She's an adult now, so I'm sure she has to handle problems that your parents keep away from you, that's why she envies you.
As for figthing, you really should avoid swearing. It adds nothing but hate to your argument, which will only make things worse. Try to endure her even if she's wrong, telling her to stop yelling is fine, but phrase it more politely so you won't anger her even more.
Can you depend on your sister from time to time? Like life counselling or helping you with your studies.
