Oh man, I hate the heat. I've got some tips. Wear loose-fitting, white or light-colored clothing. Cotton will keep you cooler than most synthetic materials.

If you can, freeze a water bottle overnight (empty out a little of the water beforehand, because water expands when frozen and you don't want the bottles breaking), grab them before you go outside and then just. Use it as like a personal ice pack. Then when it melts, you have cold water to drink. If you wear a cap, pour a bit of water into it and put it on.

And I think it's worth mentioning that caffeine will help dehydration, so stay away from that.
