I want to do something exciting in my life, something out of the ordinary. It's so hard to do new things in this current world because of the prices of EVERYTHING. It's unfair. Even though, I'd like to do something crazy that i'll look back on and probably regret. There's just one problem. I'm not sure what to do... I want to live life like the people in movies which is pretty stupid and unrealistic! I don't want to die while reflecting back on the painfully boring life I would have lived. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on what to do? Or does anyone want to share their experiences with us?

I understand what you mean! Juss like how Mikado wants to live in the extraordinary. I would also like to live a very 'interesting' life. Nothing too crazy because I don't want to die or go to jail or whatever stuff main characters get into. I would love to travel like a famous youtuber FunForLouis. However, for now I am going to college learning to create games, so I'll be able to make characters and places that are fun and exciting and pretend that's my life... For now I juss try to do different things everyday even if it's small things like when im on my way to school I'll go a different way or sit in a different seat juss not to be boring.

Meet me! Meeting a stranger could be pretty interesting no real motive or purpose just to be different. Go find a rooftop and camp-out on it. break the boring repetitive cycle of day to day.

Go on an adventure! Not a grand adventure. Even a roam around your town is fine or you can go hiking somewhere. A friend of mine used to just go to different places and spend the day walking around. A day spent in a new place is always fun.

This may sounds a bit boring and like "momy-talking" but there's only one thing exciting about life..; something priceless and crazy that puts you into situations where you have to make decisions that you may or may not regret, and creates unforgettable memories and inspiring stories.. Wondering what is it..?

Don't expect things.. don't look for them..

How boring would it be to live something you already thought about it and already know what to do..

A close member of my family never thought he/she would be in touch with esoteric stuff..; have hallucinations/visions that happened for real in the future, be wounded by vodooisme, see his/her father being manipulated by a kind of sorceress, have to severely injure someone in any ways so that person wouldn't hurt his/her and my family again, see another member of his/he family and mine being murdered and yet don't know the identity of the murderer, learn his/her friend died the next day he/she said that a djinn wanted revenge on him/her, and so and so..
You may not believe what I just wrote, I myself didn't when I heard it the fist time, but according to how close I am with that person and lots of witnesses, I did..

This person didn't expected all these events and today, he/she tells me that he/she would have without a doubt avoided all these if he/she could have, but still, in some ways, cherish these unusual and frightening experiences because they are experiences.. All unexpected

I'm sure you didn't even try everything that came to your mind! Go hiking on weekends, stroll around town talking to people(even if most of them will be annoyed, the poor will sometimes tell you incredible stories), try new sports like parcour and what not, join communities (like the boyscouts... or a political faction? The army?), maybe try to become a reporter and travel around the world, simply read a book and so on.
Most of that is free, and I can come up with it in one minute. So you can't say you have nothing exciting to do when you didn't eveb try!

My life is so blank and boring that I'm starting to desesperate! I barely have any friends, even on the internet...

For me, boredom it's the worst type of feeling. I would gladly accept anything unexpected/extraordinary to happen to me, even if it's prejudicial for me or for the people surrounding me, I don't care at all!

If there was at least some way for me to get out of this ordinary life...

Just wait for school to start, then mess with everyone like how izaya does with people. This is what I'm planning to do this year. I know some people in my class who will be fun to play with ;)

Right now, I'm learning certain stuff on my own such as HTML, CSS and Javascript because I want to be able to create a website. I'm trying to improve my skills when it comes to putting subtitles. I also wanted to write a light novel or heck even make a short manga, so I wanted to learn how to draw as well.

My problem is either I get distracted or I loose interest fairly quickly. I never got to finish any of the novels I tried to start because I've run out of ideas early on. I wanted to learn how to draw manga badly but I always loose interest pretty quickly.

Still, the only way I spend my time is either watch some anime or learn some new stuff :D

I feel literally the same. ugh it just pisses me off that my life will never be as exciting as that of a fictional character. I know it seems childish, BUT ITS TRUE AND IT PISSES ME OFF NONETHELESS.. Ive been thinking of Izaya-ing (haah) but It seems like a lot of work, and youre sacrificing your potential relationships with people, and I personally like to stay more low-key when it comes to being social, not really someone who people avoid or talk to in hopes of getting advice or whatnot. I like to just slip under people's radar,and it can be useful sometimes. i'm getting a bit off topic here.. my point is that I completely fucking agree with you xD

well i don´t know where to start.. my life has been a hell of a rollercoaster! i was bullied when i was a kid. hated for everything. and it wasn't better at home. my father an alcoholic and my mother was a foreigner, my father did not allow me to lear her language so i could never tell her that my father raped me.. so all this lead to me spending time alone. that was the only time i was safe, no bullies, no psycho-dad or "ghost" mother. i started to like the feeling to be alone. but when i turned 9 i was moved into a foster family. i was dragged into a huge family with 7 other kids and i was no longer alone. i soon found myself liking to be social. it went great with my foster family. i am 17 now and i have close friends, and even a boyfriend. i never thought that i would experience such happiness. but i suppose that true happiness can come from within. sometimes you need a little bit of help to become happy, and sometimes you just do it on your own. i know i am happy. i´ve always been, i have always had a life force inside of me and sure, i have felt depressed. but i have always gotten over it. i suppose that what makes my life a bit interesting is that i am a bit.. goofy?.. apparently i am a very cute girl. i bet its because I'm short.. and i know i can be a bit stupid sometimes but hell i don´t know everything! and well, it all turned good at the end? but anyway. what i´m trying to say is that the reason my life is so interesting is because i make it that way. i choose to see things from the bright side. i don´t feel any grudge against anybody. and i can actually say that well i do suffer from mood swings so i guess that i can be sad a lot to. but anyway, i am an energy person. by nature. (ADHD) and i just love my friends, boyfriend and family. so i try to show it as well. but i can´t do that all the time cuz i can get angry some times and i can hurt peoples feelings. but i am a goofy person. and i guess that will automatically make my life turn upside down. whether i want it to or not. but personally i do want to, it´s so much funnier to be upside down than just standing normally. i mean BORING! look, take a advice,it is your life. you can do what you want with it. so if you want to make it interesting. then you can either start doing more random stuff, or just change your perspective of things. i do both :P
