Why are you guys so comforted by the Dollars? Its a fictional gang that doesnt even exist

You're posting in the DOLLARS forum, so how it doesn't exist? It was fictional before we made it a real thing.

You're correct that it was fictional before, but now it's a real thing. And part of the Dollars being comforting is the fact that they're real people and not make believe

There are people who care or at least pretend to care about what we have to say, what we think or feel. Your existence being acknowledged is a great feeling :D

A group that cares for well being of others is good enough. Not everyone in the world are assholes. A stranger concern about other people does not happen often so to actually have a group like that is amazing.

Writing this on my phone so I will try to keep it brief. Humans feel insignificant and take comfort in the idea that they take part in a group larger than them, boosting their personal confidence overall

We are comforted by them because they are real people. Sometimes you just need people to talk to. The people here are really kind and actually try to help.

I think that the reason that we're into the dollars or that we even joined is basically the same reason that thethe people of ikkebukuro (in the anime did, some tines you just need someone to talk to or to know someone else is out there like you .even if its just a little bit.

but bringing yourselves into this you can find ground,
fictional ground in which you can view and solve your problems as if they were the fictional words which they appear as. You can become fiction. Fiction is fucking great its all possible in a way, as in life.
Sometimes you just need to remember life is the most common form of fiction.

Dollars does exist. We have members here don't we? People posting about many different things. It may be based off a work of fiction, but the people here make it real.

The note about it being fictional just isnt true anymore because were all here and talking and creating new things even us discussing being real or not makes us real. also does it matter? A lot of members live their lives mostly in fantasy or anime or internet and online things just because its not physical does it make it any less valid. Another note is that it fufills the purpose of its creation "fictional" or not. What we have here is a community where you can do whatever you want be whoever you want and talk to strangers from all over the world. Humans crave self satisfaction and the Dollars are a way to give it to us. We can help others which makes us feel good about ourselves and like were not insignificant in the world ( whether we are or not is a different topic it at least makes us feel like we arent) and if were feeling down we can post for help, or talk about the things we love or try and make the world a better place. You can be as much as an attention seeker as you would like or as hoenst as you want and make the dollars into the place you want it to be and for everone thats different it can become like an internet home to identify with or just a safe place. This helps you from feeling alone and give you a group to belong to. It gives us fiction lovers a place to escape and become part of that world we have always dreamed of or made up.

Dollars does exist. I mean, your part of it.

And it's not really a gang and it could also be a gang since there's nothing that states what we are. And there's no rules against what we want to be. The Dollars are more of individuals rather than a group.

So it's not the group that's comforting. It's the real people's replies that comfort them since we could have had similar experiences. So rather than the group the Dollars being comforting it's more of the individual who makes it comforting who just happens to be in the Dollars.

you also got to remember there is no rules or stuff like that and the only leader types is the admin when they want to show themselves.... last thing is we are nothing but something if that makes sense you do what you want with that
