LGBT stands for "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender"

Ok, so I'm bisexual. But my appearance and actions doesn't prove that. Which is why most people correct me, telling me that I'm just being rebellious and this is just "hormones".

Technically, I look straight.
I act/move straight. But my intentions are different.

My folks doesn't appreciate gay people. It's a religious thing. I think it's unfair even for others. Most gays are getting bullied here. I'm not saying i'm getting bullied. I'm female, and my schoolmates and friends respects me for being bisexual. But I don't think it's fair that lesbians get nice treatments and gay guys don't. I know it looks cool to see women wearing male's outfit or something phenomenally cool but why see other gays differently? I know this is a democratic world but for some LGBT... it's not. At least, they're not allowed to. And I feel bad for reasons that aren't hurting me physically. Coz I can see others being hurt for trying to be who they are.

Why am I babbling about this?
Well.... I want to ask some of you if you're in favor or against LGBT's.

Help your fellow LGBT people out, stand up for them and shit. If you can't do that, at least voice your opinion that they are harming a human being that has done nothing to us and shouldn't be treated differently. I don't like how as a country, we can't agree on whether or not people that love each other should continue loving each other. I don't like how two consenting individuals fighting for their rights can't even have sex without them like, dying and shit for being homosexuals. I don't get humans, 'le~.

Same here. i don't get people/ the world at all.
It's like saying every human being deserves justice when technically... lawyers, the judge or the whole court can't be trusted w/ justice itself. Coz even innocents gets stuck up in jail.

In this world, there are too many bad things to eradicate them all, and one of them is freedom of mind. Not all people can be tolerant and kind, that's just who they are, there is a certain balance between good and evil, though it might be tipped too often.
To end this overly edgy comment: Some people are ignorant, you can't change everyone, that's a good and bad thing at the same time.

Hey Kate, just wanted to tell you that you do not have to look or act a certain way to validate as bi. You are your own person. And no one has the right to tell you otherwise because they think you don't fit the stereotype.
I hope you're okay. And I hope the bullied kids you talked about are gonna be okay, too.
People who are against homosexuality and the like are so childish. It's like sitting in a restaurant and telling the waiter "I dislike ice cream, so you can't serve anyone else who wants some". The world doesn't revolve around you, sweet cheeks.
I'm just so tired. We have to go through this every day and then the next and the next and the next.

I am a lesbian, so I do support LGBTQIA+ rights. I can probably address the whole, 'people prefer lesbians to gay men' thing.

Alright, so as a lesbian in Indiana, I have dealt with discrimination before. I am in high school, and I have heard many children go on homophobic, and transphobic rants before. However, most of the people I know are cool with LGBTQIA+ people. I think the reason that lesbians are liked more than gay men is because it is more acceptable in today's society for a woman to take on a man's role than it is for a man to take on a woman's. For example, it's alright if girls want to play sports like football and baseball, but it's odd if a man wants to be in dance, or color guard (Not that men and boys don't do these activities, but it's often though upon as odd).

I've found that some men and women are far more comfortable with a masculine woman, rather than an feminine man. Where I live, LGBTQIA+ people that don't really fall under stereotypical LGBTQIA+ behavior are often less discriminated against than others. Men that go outside of the stereotypical 'manly behavior' are seen as far more abnormal that a masculine female.

Once again, as an example, if a girl wears a suit to a dance, it may not be seen as very weird. However, if a man wants to wear a dress or other feminine outfit to a dance, it is seen as very weird. Most would assume that the person is transgender.

In summary, it mostly just has to do with society's expectations of men, and tolerance of people defying gender stereotypes and roles.

Also, I understand the feeling of pitying LGBTQIA+ people who are bullied and discriminated against. It's unfortunate that they have to put up with unfair treatment. The only advice that I can give you is to try and help these people if you can, and if you feel comfortable doing so. I've only stood up to a homophobic person once, and that was just my cousin. She said she didn't like "The Imitation Game" because Alan Turing was gay, and I told her that it was a major part of his life, and the reason why he died (sort of), and that if they had left out his homosexuality, it would have been a major injustice to Alan Turing.

Don't worry. The fight for equality is long and hard, but we're getting there. Already, gay marriage is legal in all 50 states. We still have a long way to go, but I'm sure it will get better. Good luck, and I'm sorry my response is so long.

Hello. I am in favor of LGBT rights. It someone wants to get married to the one they love, I think they should be able to. I am mostly in favor because I myself am gay. If I want to marry some I love, I want to be able to marry them. I don't care what other people think or say.
