I've been thinking about my mistakes this year in freshman year highschool. I had this cute girl in my classes, we eventually started talking at one point and had fun conversations on the way to our classes. I really enjoyed talking to her, then she decided to run for junior class president and I decided to go hear her speech to support her. After the speeches, I went outside to hang out with my friends and I saw her walking out. We exchanged greetings, and started up a conversation, I told her that i listened to her speech thought it was short and she immediately said "that's creepy." I started acting a bit defensive and asked her why it was creepy and she just walked away saying bye. We haven't really talked ever since. Lately, I've been seeing her around a lot, since we both have mutual friends and acquaintances and I want to be able to talk to her again. I really did like our conversations, they weren't awkward or anything but just random. I'd like to hear some advice from you guys (besides "get over it" I'm trying to) because i really do want to be able to get rid of the awkward atmosphere between us ~RealityBoy

Don't trust the cute girls. They're usually a bunch of assholes who just hang out with other cute girls. All they ever do is complain and complain all day long everyday. Usually the girls who aren't as good looking are friendlier and funnier. Although having a cute girlfriend can be nice, they will break your heart. I don't think this advice would be very useful though. Gomenasai.

My advice is just to forget her. You say you're friends and then she goes up and is being a biatch to you, she probably doesnt like you anymore. (Dont know why, girl's are emotional rollercoasters... Just be aware :33) If you really actually do like her, just try to 'ignore' her for a few days, but still know her presence. Maybe she'll start talking and you can mend things. If things don't work out that way, then try to mend things earlier.

Since you have the same acquaintances, you'll probably be able to start another casual conversation. However, to me, it doesn't seem as if you know her all that well. Maybe she's really bad at handling criticism or heard from a friend that you are trying to hit on her?
I don't think you should just let it end because of that, in the worst case, that person will think of you as annoying or awkward, but that doesn't really matter if she won't talk to you anyways, right?

And to put the cherry on top because nagging me and my mom "motivating" me (it's really just her venting her frustrations and saying how every one of her friends family's are better than hers) makes me want to do the exact opposite

I regret that I never talked with a guy I had a crush on. It's just that I never wanted to get close, and now I feel myself being crushed myself. It's hard being alone, and I barely have friends because I doubt myself way too much.
