Hello. I have a feeling this website will help me more than any counseller so I'll give it a try. I got into high school and got friends- normal and perfectly fine. BUT, about 2 months in, one of those friends told me she liked me more than a friend. I'd never even considered the fact, and though of us as just friends. I decided to give it a try though. For months, nothing happened and now I think she's given up on me and is now flirting unconciously with another one of my friends. My chest hurts whenever she glares at me and I get this lump in my throat whenever I have to say goodbye, so I don't even say it. I feel like she's completely trying to avoid me whenever she gets the chance and now my suicidal thoughts have returned. She is the reason I am still alive.

Is there any advice? I'm kind of lost right now...

i had a girl friend who i loved so much and thought we would never break up.
but then she started ingoring me and slowly live like if i didnt exist. i felt like if i was dying.
the pain inside was horrible.
so then i told her.
i did not whant to loose her
the thought burned
she then told me that she didnt know how to tell me that she just did not love me anymore
and she didnt want to hurt me
it brought pain to her hart to

she did not love me any more but did care that i would be hurt


moral of the story

i know she might be all in the world for you and she is your reason to live. if she is the one that is for you then be honnest with your doughts and tell her. tell her how you feel about all that is happenning. honesty is very important. if you are honest by telling her that your afraide that she is drifting away well she will be honest and tell you if she is.
life is maid to be lived and if it is time to let go let go.

So basically, your girlfriend is flirting with another guy.
Try not to be too oppressive, she must make friends if she really wants to, even if they are guys. Confront her and tell her that you are feeling jealousy towards others. (be careful not to walk into the "you don't trust me" trap)
But anyways, you do realize that your relationship might not last forever, right? As nice as it would be, don't let your life depend on a single person. You were able to meet and love that certain someone because you are alive, so cherish your memories and keep in mind that you might fall in love again, even after you lose an important person.

Best advice is to just cut your losses and move on.

I'm very good at making fun of people, but not as good as SOME PEOPLE I KNOW. I try not to be a weeb but I guess it's just how I naturally am. I'd rather not be normal though- they laugh at cruddy jokes like "DESE NUTS!" I don't get it, nor do I want to.

:| I feel like I don't really have a say in this... But I have experienced it, so I'll give you my part of the whole thing. If she is 'unconsciously' flirting with another person, then she DOESN'T know that she is. Maybe she is trying to get you jealous? If you can't think of a reason for her wanting to make you jealous, then maybe she just wants a little more attention from you...
