How to ease the feeling of wanting to escape?

2 Name: TDFKAC : 2015-06-15 01:41 ID:b6yvtc4y [Del]

Drugs and the occult.
We all get out one day though, so don't be so blue about it.

>>2 drugs aren`t always a good solution they can make you feel even worse

>>3 Anything can make you feel worse or better, it depends on how you go about it.

I'm not saying go all out and be a reckless drug fiend.
Research, experiment, be responsible about your vices.

Truth is, everyone has a vice or two.
You just can't let that shit own you.

Yea .. but there's this one thing that you already know what solution you can do but its just like you don't wanna do it ..

>>2 if you are going to rely on drugs anyways, you are already a broken person. I am not telling you how to live your life, nobody said you can't escape from your troubles by unfair methods, but if you are going to let something artificial affect your psyche, I don't think there's a difference to going mad.
>>1 The solution is awfully easy. Face it. You can run, but that won't erase the issue at hand. If you are talking about escapism instead of just facing a problem, then... well, I don't think escapism is a bad thing at all. As I said before, running away is an option, one I use quite often, even though it certainly is not the best one. Gather strength to handle your problems or live with them.

>>6 Drugs is tools, not crutches.
I don't do them escape my troubles, that's for pussies.
>let something artificial affect your psyche
Whoa now. Literally everyone does this exact same thing every day.
At least drugs can be a bit more horizon broadening.

nourishments and entertainment do not have the same impact as drugs, theirs is negligible. I just don't want for someones first piece of advice to be "take drugs". Anyways, let's not turn this into a discussion.

>>9 I don't do drugs to be entertained man.
Let's not turn it into a discussion here, but maybe someday. It's a good discussion either way.
>>10 to each their own. You should get a hobby then. Maybe make model planes or some shit.
Painting/sculpting miniatures can be pretty bees.

Draw. Learn to draw manga or just sit at a park and enjoy the fresh air. Drawing calms me down and I just so happen to be a suicidal kid. I enjoy going to creeks and imagining myself drowning in them.

Yea yea. You know, its true that drawing makes me calm, thats my hobby when im bored but sometimes when you're not into it,you'll end up thinking: can i just go somewhere far far away?

Honestly I love acting with a passion. It really just puts you into a completely different world where you don't have to be yourself. I often loose myself in the character I'm playing and it's an escape. My life isn't that bad, I have a roof over my head and loving family and friends, which is a lot more than some people have. Reading is a way to disconnect and although (like acting) it's not for everyone. Some of my friends like to sing or dance or write to release emotions but as you can probably see I have a tendency to be someone else and the words/actions I use just can't convey the feelings. And sometimes talking about stuff is just the only way to ease that feeling of wanting to be somewhere else.

oh i see, i'am glad . hope that i can do it too :) as of now, i think all i can do is appreciate what i have then, also thinking my life is better compared to others will do blah blah, but not so sure because even though i set mind on that thinking, my thought is like: i think i'am bound in depression forever haha .. my god ..

How I ease the feeling of wanting to escape:
1. Listen to calming music (Calms me down...)
2. Listen to rock music (I'm that kind of person)
3. Watch cartoons (They make me laugh, forgetting my problems..."
