Okay, so I´ve been in love with a certain girl for quite some time. The problem is that I ponder waaaaay to much. I´m not confident enough to tell someone how I feel. Its not that I´m antisocial or something. I do have a bunch of really good friends who entrust me with their feelings. Its just that I do not feel like telling anyone about mine. I lack trust in others even though I didn´t have any bad experience yet. Now back to the topic: Since our year just got our A levels, we are going to Bulgaria next week. This is literary my last chance to confess! I really want to tell her but I have these concerns. The thing is that I don´t want her to be drunk or something else when I tell her. The least thing I want would be her regretting the decision. I am well aware what I have to do its just that I need some advice on how to do it. I know that I will always hate myself if I won´t tell her. I´d even perfer a refusal. I don´t want to force myself on her, I couldn´t stand it if we were together though she didn´t really like me. This may sound pathetic and cowardly but since I explained myself you can probably understand that I need to rely on you now.

Let me tell you some advice you pretty much hear everywhere: be yourself. But since that is actually pretty vague and probably does more harm than good, I'll elaborate. If she already knows you, you probably are not going to be changing her mind by confessing. Whether the words come out right or wrong, her answer will probably be the same. For general advice, try to invite her where there are not as many people. It doesn't matter if it is unusual for you, this is a special occasion. Take a deep breath and tell her what you told us here. Please understand that this isn't your only option, but just what I have seen work best for people.

One last thing though. No matter what, decide on at least one specific reason you like her beforehand. It needs to be intangible. If you can do that, just get out all the words you can. You won't have anything to regret.

I may be oversimplifying thing but I'm kinda not very trusting of people unless I know them for a long time. I know your embarrassed to tell her how you feel etc but you gotta compare that to not telling her at all. I mean like said it's your last chance if you do nothing chances are you'll just constantly be reminded of it and get pissed off. Also it not that important how you say it I mean even if fumble over your words or whatever some girls find that more human and sweet than a suave prince charming confession xD

All in all look at it this way. She says no chances are you won't see her again. Rather than you 2 months later in the middle of a shower thinking " dammit why didn't I do anything!" Alright I'm done go get her tiger!

All you can do is be honest. If that's not good enough for her, it's a shame, but it's unavoidable.

You'd rather that to years of "I wonder what would have happened if..."

It's a gamble, but you don't exactly stand to lose anything you currently have, but you stand to gain a lot.

If it's too hard to tell her in person, maybe write her a letter.

i have read the post and i have a few thing to say,you can do it man!it is better to do it now and not regret in the future and even if she refuses there is plenty of girls out there.
