Creating A Resume (3)

1 Name: Katsumi Haruna : 2015-06-11 14:50 ID:JaQzV586 [Del]

I'm applying for a new job at Hot topic and I've got my application all finished up but I need help with my resume. I've looked around for some good templates to help using "Resume template for teens first job" but not very many good ones have shown up. (And for those of you that don't know Hot Topic is a pop culture clothing/retail store.) Should I add in any past 'jobs' I've had like working as a camp manager? I think so because I had to use my time management skills as well as leadership and team work. Thanks for the help and any skills you think I may be able to add would be appreciated as well thanks.

>>1 Wish you could share what you've got so far.

Honestly, since you're a teen, it doesn't matter where, if you've had ANY work experience it needs to all be in your resume. Also, if you have recommendations, that's a huge plus. Some people include photo in their resume, but if you feel like discrimination could play a factor, then don't put one; your choice. Including your high school GPA would be good too under the Education section within your resume. If it's a good GPA, it shows you do your work efficiently and consistently and would make a reliable asset to the company.
In your resume also add in some qualifications; a quick summary of why you should be hired. It's a bit different from a cover letter (which I hope you have one) which is like a summary of your entire resume.

Hey, Kagome, I thought you had to be older to work at hot topic?
