Well, for me, lying is always the answer! Though for that, you'd need to be sure to find a few things with your mother's handwriting on them. Then, trace over all of the letters and punctuation as well. Keep copying them until you know them by heart. Next thing to do is see through your mother's eyes, how she'd see it, and write all of that on the paper. Copy down her signature if you can at the end. Of course, this is an extremely risky process and if you make one mistake or if the teacher requests for a conference with her, you're screwed. I'd suggest that if you aren't too skilled in lying or anything like that, this isn't the thing for you. Siblings would make things more difficult, the less you tell the less the chances they'll tell your mother. So if you don't have either extreme lying skills, luck, or a good relationship with your siblings, I'd suggest telling your mother and taking her word beating. It's hard, but know that the reason for all of this was stupid and that anyone argues otherwise is wrong. Look everything over and find your best option. Good luck, 'le~!

Why do you need a note from your mom and why are you gonna be screwed if you ask for it?

I think lying is never the good solution, if you do, it will only bring you problems and you mother will know it one day, it will only move the probleme and you'll lose your mother trust/confidence (and this come never back, or really hardly). But telling the truth must be done the good way, you have to think about how you'll present it, to minimise your "screwing" and to make your mother not being to angry. Good luck! :)

The title of this thread is misleading...
Depends if you could trust your siblings to not rat you out.
For me, I think I may tell, because what if the issue is all done, and through, and one day your teacher brings it up. Then, your mother would be confused, and you'd get in more trouble.

In France I guess it would be "Faux et usage de faux".

It's a crime sentenced by up to three years in jail and 45000€ for a person of more than 18 years, the half otherwise.

I don't know if you did a very silly sin. Weight if that is worthwhile to imitate a letter from your parents.

It's better for u to tell the truth .. If u lie, there's karma

I'm on with those guys about the truth. Just tell it to them. 👌🏻

Tell your parents. Making mistakes is unavoidable, even if the impact might be gigantic, it's better than a lie being uncovered. You are going to die for real if you mess something up while faking that note.

Title had me curious.
Then it made me lol.

Anyway, in my experience, parents and teachers operate on different wavelengths. Once I almost got sent home for wearing the wrong shoes, until my Dad basically told the teacher over the phone to go fuck herself.

Point being, if your "sin" was that petty, your parents probably won't care that much.
