I would advise you to make sure you are there for your brother.
I think one day those guys are gonna steal something or shoot someone or hurt him, and when that day comes, he'll probably come crying back. I think you should ignore the dangerous guy though. He's probably a ton of trouble and you don't want to mess with him. Just keep watch on your brother and make sure he comes home safely.
